Can I exchange an item?Customers can request an exchange for the same item in a different size or color, given inventory and availability. Please keep in mind exchange items are not reserved until the original item has been received back to our warehouse. Customers MUST use our Return Center to process an exchange. Shipping is not included for exchange orders. Anything purchased on our Final Sale pages, or Promotional Sales are final sale, no returns or exchanges, store credits or refunds - no exceptions. We strongly encourage you to take your measurements and order the correct size. If you have questions about how to properly take your measurements, our Size Guide page has a detailed explanation and video. For your convenience, each product has a detailed description of try ons, size chart and recommendations for in-between sizes. What do I do if my item is damaged?It is essential to open and look at your items as soon as you receive them. We thoroughly inspect our products for quality assurance and it is very rare to receive a damaged item; however, if you feel you have received a damaged item, please contact us within 3 business days of receiving your package if there is a concern with your item/order. We are unable to honor any modifications outside of our time frames stated in our return policies. Please email belleterre22@gmail.com for any questions or concerns.

What does Made To Order Mean?Please see FAQ for more information about Made To Order. Each gown is handmade and made specifically for you. All sales in the Made To Order category are FINAL. No exchanges can be accepted. Cancelation of a Made To Order dress will require 50% of total cost fee. For special circumstances we can accept for store credit. All Made To Order gowns take 10+ weeks. Please be aware of this when placing your Made to Order. It's vital that you take correct measurement's and order the correct size as Made To Order gowns are all final sale. How long does it take to process a return?Please excuse our returns center while we work through some hiccups. To issue a return or exchange, please fill out a contacts form and Ariel will get back to you as soon as possible. Returns will not be issued until Belle Terre Ave. has processed and completed your return. Please allow up to 7 business days after item delivery for inspection and sorting; You will get an email notification when this process is completed. Keep in mind not all returns will be approved. Any items washed, heavily scented, worn, pilling and/or not in original packaging cannot be returned and will automatically be rejected and sent back to you. Belle Terre Ave. is not responsible for shipping unaccepted return items back to you.

What is your Return Policy?We always hope that you are satisfied with our pieces, but if for some reason you aren’t, you can always return regular priced items for a refund to your original method of payment OR store credit. Please return the item in its original and unworn condition within 10 days of the postmarked delivery date. Anything purchased on our Final Sale pages or Promotional Sales are final sale, no returns or exchanges, store credits or refunds - no exceptions. Gift Certificates are non-refundable. We reserve the right to refuse a return if it is outside of the return period or if it has been worn (e.g. sweat stains, grass stains, dirt stains, animal hair, etc.). International Customs & DutiesInternational customers are responsible for all import duties, customs, and local taxes assessed by your country. These are government charges that are your responsibility to pay. For charges and rates please contact your country's customs office.

What does Pre Order mean?Pre-order means you reserve the product in advance. Please note that pre-order items are not available for immediate shipment until or after the approximate quoted date (listed under the product listings). Because approximate dates are not guaranteed, they are subject to change at any time without notice. Please note that if you place an order with both Pre-order and In stock items your full order will not ship until all Pre-order items are in stock. If you want your in stock order to ship sooner, please place separate orders.

Do you restock your products?We occasionally restock limited styles; however, please feel free to submit a restock request on the dress(s) you want and love! We order in small batch quantities to achieve higher quality items, better quality control, waste reduction and to provide more inspiring designs.

Where are your products made?Our designs are fabricated at our Headquarters in the Pacific Northwest and brought to life in Asia. We are proud to support and create with female-founded facilities. Not all factories are made equal and we have done our research and hand-selected only the best of the best. How clothing is made and how those who make them are treated, matters. We are proud to partner with facilities that uphold the highest ethical practices and has exceptional working conditions. Are all the sizes you have available listed?Yes! All the sizes we have available are listed on each specific product page. We sell out quickly, so be sure to subscribe to get updates on restocks in your size! We appreciate your feedback so if an item in your size is sold out, please submit a restock request!

How do I clean my dress?Unless specifically stated in the description of the dress or included in the packaging we always recommend soaking and washing by hand. But if you're busy like me and use the washing machine we recommend turning your dress inside out, always use a gentle detergent, cool water and a delicate cycle. To prolong the life of your dress, let it air-dry. Stains are bound to happen! We recommend using a stain remover pen and spot treating it as soon as possible! When you need to iron your dress, we recommend a low heat setting with a white, clean towel placed on the surface of the fabric. Do not put the iron directly on the fabric. When you need to steam your dress, we recommend steaming from the inside of the dress versus placing the steamer head directly on the outer surface. To hang or to fold? That is the question! For dresses with elastic sleeves we recommend folding it instead of hanging as it can stretch out the elastic, change the way it fits and decrease the life of your dress. Dresses are not meant to last forever but using these tips will help your Belle Terre Ave. pieces last longer and stay fresh.

What do I do if my product was lost, stolen or damaged?According to our shipping policy, Belle Terre Ave. is not responsible for any shipping errors made by the postal service you select or for orders lost or stolen during transit. Once your order leaves our facility, we are no longer responsible for it and it is out of our control therefore we cannot refund or replace items that do not make it to you. We apologize for the inconvenience this may cause you but hope you understand we did everything we could to get your order to you.

What is your Shipping Policy?U.S. Free standard shipping for U.S. orders over $150. Subtotal cart value of $150 or more, after discounts are applied before calculating shipping, taxes, and handling. Not applicable to expedited or international orders. Our items are available to ship within 1-2 business days unless marked "Pre-order." Shipping can take from 3 business days up to two weeks depending on what shipping zone you are in. Orders will be shipped to the address provided by the customer therefore the customer must provide the correct shipping address when placing an order. Belle Terre Ave. is not responsible for any lost items due to incorrect addresses. If the order is returned to Belle Terre Ave. due to invalid or incorrect address, the customer will be responsible for additional shipping fees and must pay for fees before order can be reshipped to the correct address. Customer will receive an email update with a tracking number as soon as order has been shipped. The tracking information will be updated periodically and can take up to two days for the system to update any current info. Please be aware that Belle Terre Ave. is not responsible for any shipping errors made by the shipping service or for orders lost or stolen during transit. Once your order leaves our facility and is in the hands of the shipping carrier, we are no longer responsible for it and it is out of our control. We cannot refund or replace items that do not make it to you.

What is your Pre Order Shipping time frame?The approximate shipping date for all Pre-Order items are included in the description of every product. Please note that the date stated is approximate and may change at any time without notice. If you purchase an in stock item along with a Pre-Order item, your in stock item will ship with your Pre-Order item when it becomes available. If you wish to have them shipped separately, please make two separate orders. All "Ariel Elizabeth Designs by Belle Terre Ave." are at this time, Made To Order. Local PickupFor customers located in the PNW you have the option of free local pick up (Enumclaw WA 98022). If you choose this option you will receive an email confirmation once your order is ready for pick-up (usually within 1-3 days). Please schedule a pickup time using the link in the confirmation email you receive. Orders must be picked up within 14 days of being notified or shall be subject to a standard return.
